Who I am as a Therapist
Welcome.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and for taking time to care for yourself. Take a deep breath, seeking therapy services is brave so if this is as far as you go, well done- but I do hope you choose to stay!
I draw from a wide variety of evidence based modalities to support your individual needs such as mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, components of internal family systems and EMDR. I specialize in perinatal/postpartum issues, anxiety, depression, life changes, improving relations with self and others as well as various areas of trauma. Therapy can be hard work so I'm not afraid to bring a touch of humor and a little bit of sass to keep things moving!
My goal is to promote a secure, welcoming space for any person who wants to address the struggles or traumas of life and find wholeness in whatever way that means for you. Together I hope we can work to get you living the life you want to be living. So come in, you are welcome here. Kick your shoes off, grab a cozy blanket or cup of tea and let’s do some work.
